Hello one and all,
First congrats to all your beautiful girls and their wins at UDQ
this weekend. I just know you all had a super time.
Second, a quick note about the picture (and second to be sent). I am
a member of the National Educators Association (NEA) which sponsors
Read Across America in connection with the birthday of Dr. Seuss
(March 2). Target Stores teamed up with NEA to sponsor a Ready Sit
Read Activity today at area locations including ours in Mansfield.
Cassidy wore her crown and banner and helped with reading Dr. Seuss
books, passing out juices and gold fish and distributing Dr. Seuss
coloring books. The event lasted from 1 to 3 and was a great sussecc.
In the next pic you will see Cassidy down in front leading the
children in the reading of One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.
The girls in the crowd were very impressed with the large crwon
(that Cassidy carries most of the time, heehee).
Ladd is there as well but he was good and stayed mostly with me
while Cassidy did her thing.
Thanks DDA for helping Cassidy find her place in community
involvement. This was something she really sunk her teeth into. She
LOVES to read.
